The police, on a tip-off, raided commercial area of Rawalpindi and nabbed a five-member gang involved in inveigling young girls and boys into affection through Facebook.
Police said the gang allegedly committed sexual assaults and shot videos of girls to blackmail the victim to mint money.

The gang operated Facebook through fake IDs of both males and females to trap underage and illiterate users.
According to ARY correspondent, attempts are being made on higher level to get the gang freed. A sitting and a former member of a provincial assembly are using their contacts to ensure release of the gang.
The accused five-member gang is currently under custody of Model Town Police Station, Rawalpindi.
