Police files case of Christian couple killing

LAHORE: The case of the Christian couple that was killed over allegedly committing blasphemy has been filed in Kot Radha Kishan police station in Lahore, ARY News reports.

The couple identified as Shehzad Maseeh and Shama were severely tortured and then burnt alive to death by a mob over blasphemy allegations.

The case was filed by the Police in which murder and attempt to murder charges have been included. It is said that the owner of a furnace had accused the couple of committing blasphemy over a monetary dispute.

Police has said the furnace owner alongwith several other suspects have been arrested whereas raids are also being carried out for the arrest of other accused.
