Police foil terror bid in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: The terrorists’ attempt to wreak havoc at a gathering in Rawalpindi’s Gojar Khan area was foiled by the law enforcers on Sunday, ARY News reported.

According to details, an unidentified culprit planted two bombs in a gathering and left the vicinity. The participants of the event informed the law enforcement agencies about suspicious activity of the suspect.

Police called the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), which arrived at the scene and defused the explosives.

The cops have launched the investigation of the incident and filed the case against unknown persons.
