Police gun down two 'foreign terrorists'

KARACHI: Police on Thursday gunned down two ‘foreign terrorists’ in a volatile neighborhood of Karachi, ARY News reported.

Police on an intelligence tip-off conducted a raid near Indus Plaza in Sohrab Goth area and claimed to have shot dead two foreign terrorists during an encounter.

SSP Malir, Rao Anwar told that the deceased terrorists were involved in serious crimes including kidnapping for ransom and they were wanted by the police.

“The deceased and their accomplices opened fire at the police team as it reached out to arrest them”, told Anwar. “However, two of the terrorists were gunned down in retaliatory fire, while others managed to flee”.

The slain terrorists could not be identified as yet.
