Police kill four ‘terrorists’ of banned outfit

KARACHI: Police killed four alleged terrorists, including a commander, of a banned outfit in an encounter in Sohrab Goth area of Karachi on Monday, ARY News reported.

SSP Rao Anwar said police and intelligence agencies carried out search operation in Quetta Town of Karachi on a tipoff. On seeing police, the terrorists opened fire on them. Four terrorists were killed in retaliation, while two policemen were killed.

The dead terrorists include Sualeh Muhammed Rehmani.

On the other hand, Rangers have arrested nine accused in Karachi and Larkana. According to the spokesman of Sindh Rangers, six of the accused are involved in target killing and extortion. Two of the target killers were arrested from Baldia Town and Lyari.
