According to details, Larkana Police arrested the mastermind of the killing of Dr Khalid Soomro, who was shot dead in Sukkur a few days ago.
Police recovered the white colored car and the ammunition as well, which were used by the culprits in the killing of the JUIF’s senior leader.
Sources told that police recovered the arms used in the incident from a drainage line, which were disposed off by the miscreants shortly after targeting a key figure of the right-wing political party.
It was further said that police conducted raids in different parts of the country upon the identification of the arrested accused and a major breakthrough is expected within the next 48 hours.
Earlier, authorities had sent two investigation teams to Punjab and Baluchistan each, while four teams were moved to different parts of Sindh to track down the killers of Dr Khalid Soomro.
Our correspondent told that the matter will be resolved in the next two days, after which the Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah will hold a press conference to brief the journalists about all the developments regarding the tragic event.
