Policeman killed in Quetta blast

QUETTA: A policeman was killed and four others were wounded in a bomb blast here in Quetta in Tuesday, ARY News reports.

According to Police, a person informed the law enforcement agencies about a suspicious pillow lying in front of a shop in the jurisdiction of Gwalmandi Police Station.

The blast took place when the authorities went to check the pillow, claiming of a police man.

Four others including two children were also injured in the blast. They were rushed to Civil Hospital where the condition of the two of the injured is said to be critical.

Balochistan’s Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti paid a visit to the scene after the incident.

He told the media that the terrorists have tried to invoke fear in the masseson account of Independence Day but they will never succeed in the motives.
