TOP NEWS

Current political crisis in the country has brought together all those, who once used to be rivals of each other. Continuation of democracy in state has forced all the politicians to join hands, forgetting the differences between them.

This is the first visit of any PPP chief to Mansoora in the past 37 years, after Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

The Opposition Leader, Syed Khursheed Shah, ex-Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Senator Raza Rabbani and Senator Aitzaz Ahsan were also accompanied the former President.

On this occasion, a detailed exchange of views on the current political crisis, took place between the PPP and JI leadership. Both the sides agreed upon making efforts to preserve democracy in state and to find a peaceful solution to the issue.

Asif Ali Zardari praised the efforts of JI in resolving the issue and extended full support by his party.

Earlier, the PPP patron in-chief had met PM Nawaz Sharif and discussed with him affairs pertaining to the deadlock between the government and agitating parties.

He will also hold a meeting with the leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ), Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervez Ilahi, who are aiding Dr Tahirul Qadri in his struggle to change the system of the country through a peaceful public revolution.
