PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Friday said that poor leadership and political interference ruined the state of public hospital in the country.
Imran Khan addressing an international health conference said that common man struggles for basic necessities, while disease and poor healthcare affected their productivity.
He further added that lack of merit has led to the apathetic and dire state of facilities in public hospitals.
He praised the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the improvement in healthcare in the province which he said was a role model for the rest of the country.
He said that efforts were being made to establish a gynecology hospital in Peshawar, and health cards will be issued to all residents of KP.
