Political jirga stopped PTI ministers resignation: Rehman Malik
In the tweet, the former Interior minister said that the efforts of political jirga in talks with the rebellious party is to be credited with the move as they not only sent a message to PTI chief Imran Khan but also spoke to National Assembly speaker Ayaz Sadiq on the issue.
Earlier, The jirga headed by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief warned the government against accepting resignations of PTI members citing the reason that it would result in more political chaos.
