Political leaders term Kasur incident “terrorism against children”

ISLAMABAD: PTI chairman Imran Khan has said that Kasur incident of child abuse is an outcome of police-politicians collusion, while Sheikh Rasheed termed it “terrorism against children”, ARY News reported.

Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan said that culprits behind Kasur child abuse scandal should be handed harsh punishment and made an example. He vowed to raise voice against the incident in the National Assembly tomorrow.

Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed termed in “terrorism against children”, while the emir of Jamaat e Islami (JI) demanded for constituting a judicial commission to probe the matter and to inform about its findings within two weeks.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) regarding the issue submitted a call attention notice in NA today, whereas the chairman of Child Protection Bureau Saba Sadiq called for an unbiased inquiry into the largest ever child abuse scandal of Pakistan’s history.

Other political leaders have also denounced the incident in strongest of words and demanded the authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice.
