Political royalties attend PPP Khi rally

Karachi: Ex-speaker national assembly, ex-prime ministers, ex and present chief ministers, ex-president and political elite from all over Pakistan attended the huge gathering of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) supporter at Karachi’s Bagh-e-Jinnah on Saturday, reports Ary news.

Voter, supporters and leaders of PPP showed up from across the country at the political curtain raiser of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah at the occasion said that the flag of democracy was given to Benazir Bhutto by Zulfiqar ali Bhutto  and today it is handed over to Bilwal Bhutto Zardari. “Bilawal Bhutto is the only leader who will fight for the right of the people”, he added.

Criticizing PTI, he said that mere sit-ins cannot bring revolution in Pakistan, revolution seeks sacrifice.

Ex-prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf speaking at Bagh-e-Jinnah said that this is rally season but we are gathered here to commemorate the sad incident that occurred on the 18 October 2007.

Ex- prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani while addressing the rally said that God has given opportunity to Bilwal Bhutto to change the faith of this country. He stated that today’s gathering proves that PPP is still the symbol of federation in Pakistan.  Gillani suggested all organizations of PPP should be dissolved and new organizations shall be evolved by incorporating young blood.
