Popular Indian singer Kailash Kher grieved over Sabri’s death

“I am stunned to see why would anyone kill a figure who is spreading laughter and smiles,” said Kher while speaking to ARY News.

Kher said Sabri was one among those who propagated Allah’s message. ‘I am shocked to see killing of this pious person during the holy month of Ramazan.

By targeting these artistes, terrorists are wiping out humanity from the soil, he said.

Meanwhile, scores of Bollywood figures tweeted their grief after the tragic death of Sabri and said the passing of artiste was loss to the world.

One of Pakistan’s best known Sufi musicians was shot dead by unknown assailants riding a motorcycle in Karachi on Wednesday afternoon, triggering an outpouring of grief over what police described as an “act of terror”.

Amjad Sabri, aged around 45, was travelling by car from his home to a television studio, when a motorcycle pulled up alongside the vehicle and the attackers opened fire, killing him on the spot.
