Power disconnection: Textile mills plan protest after Eid

LAHORE: The owners of textile industries on Sunday expressed displeasure over government decision to disconnect power supply to the mills during Eid days, ARY News reported.

The government has decided to suspend electricity supply to textile industries for three days of Eid – Monday to Wednesday. The government also decided to suspend gas supply from Monday night.

The decision is taken to provide relief to the domestic consumers during Eid days. The textile mill owners have expressed sheer resentment over the decision, citing the measure would bring financial loss to their factories.

They have decided to protest against the government decision after three days of Eid.
