PPP to hold public meeting in Azad Kashmir today

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will be staging a public meeting at Mirpur, Azad Kashmir on Monday (today), ARY News reported.

PPP’s public meeting will be held at Mirpur Cricket Stadium, which has been decorated with the party’s banners and flags. A stage is also being constructed with containers.

Fool-proof security arrangements are being made to avoid any untoward incident on the occasion. Heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies will also be deployed for security.

Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Abdul Majeed along with Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and central party leaders will address the meeting. The party is expected to lash at federal government over its performance and policies.

Bilawal tweeted, “Chalo, Chalo, #Mirpur Chalo. #JiyaBhutto.”

D.J. Butt will play party anthems and national songs during the public meeting.
