PPP leaders seek retribution for Peshawar school attack

Holding a presser in Peshawar, they said the entire nation need to be united against war on terror.

Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah said the country was determined to fight war on terror and protect national integrity.

He praised all segments of society including media for their sacrifices.

PPP leader Sherry Rehman, said “We believe that any mercy plea holds no value before the death of children.”

She said the prime minister had promised not to let blood of innocent children go waste. No terrorist will be our friend, she added.

Those of protect terrorists and shelter them should be labeled as traitors, she stressed

“We have seen such resolutions in the past against terror, ‘now we need action’.”

We believe that resolution made on Wednesday will be forgotten after a week, but we remind every stake holder that any neglect in this connection will not be tolerable to anyone. Media have now the responsibility to make the government answerable, she demanded

Ms Rehman said Pakistan was rendering immense sacrifices in the battle against terrorists.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah also spoke on the occasion.
