Sixty-three-year old Jameel, elected from PS-67 (Mirpurkhas-cum-Umerkot- Old Mirpur Khas-IV) constituency of Sindh province, died of heart failure early this morning.
He had defeated his rival Mir Janullah Khan Talpur, a PML-F candidate in May 2013 general elections.
He was scheduled to fly to the United States (US) for cancer treatment, as he was suffering from the disease for quite some time.
Bhurgari belonged to the political family of Bhurgaris of Mirpurkhas district and was born on February 21, 1952 in the house of the known landlord Raees Ghulam Mustafa Bhurgari.
