Co-chairman PPP Asif Ali Zardari, Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and other party leaders will address the gathering today.
The arrangements for the party’s rally have been finalized.
All routes leading to the venue have been sealed with containers due to security reasons. Heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies will also perform duty.
It will be the first time since 2008 that PPP will flex its political muscles in the area.
It should be noted that Lyari is considered a stronghold of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). The party has always won the elections by a huge margin from the constituency.
