According to details, unknown assailants opened fire at a clinic near Khaliq Jumma Hall in Lyari Town, consequently killing three people and injuring one. The deceased included a PPP worker, Inayat Baloch.
Shortly afterwards, a cracker attack was also reported in Singoo Lane area of Lyari and the entire town was gripped by tension.
Police and Rangers were called in to control the situation.
CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah while taking notice of the killing of PPP worker has directed the IG Sindh for immediate arrest of the culprits.
