PPP workers throng Karachi for Oct 18 rally

KARACHI: Trains and passenger buses carrying thousands of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) supporters are heading for Karachi to take part in Saturday’s party rally, ARY News reported.

The PPP rally which will mark the beginning of party’s young chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s political career, will be attended by Jiyalas (party workers) from across the country.

As a part of efforts to kick start the campaign, Bilawal also used the Twitter platform to enthrall party workers. One of the tweets shows PPP chairman standing with one of the descendants of Sindh’s great martyr Hoshu Sheedi.

In another tweet, Bilawal pays rich tribute to Jiyalas, calling them Jaan Nisaar e Benazir for protecting his mother and now him.
