PPP’s Ahsan asks PM Nawaz to declare assets

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Aitzaz Ahsan has asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to declare his assets, ARY News reported.

He made the request to PM Sharif while talking to media with Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah and Awami National Party (ANP) leader Ghulam Ahmed Bilour.

“The probe of the Panama Papers should start with PM’s family,” Ahsan said.

He said that Army Chief General Raheel Sharif would not have given his statement regarding accountability against corruption if the premier would not have delayed the issue of making the commission to inquire the allegations in Panama Papers.

The PPP leader went on to say, “There would have been no need to form the commission if the prime minister would have initiated the commission.”
