Prepare delicious Shami Kababs for Iftar

Ingredients

Egg 1

Gram dhal 4 oz

Salt to taste

Minced meat 1 1/2 lb

Ghee

 

Chop coarsely:

Blanched almonds 1 dozen

Chopped coriander 1 tsp leaves

Green chillies 2

Egg 1 hardboiled

Onion 1 medium

 

Grind to a paste:

Garam masala 1 tsp

Turmeric powder 1 tsp

Dry red chilli 1

Ginger 1 piece

Cloves garlic 3

Coriander powder 1 tsp

Cooking directions:-

Grind together with the masala paste finely, break in the raw egg and mix well.

 

Shape into balls or flat cakes and put a little of the chopped masala in the center of each kabab.

 

Heat ghee for shallow frying and fry till richly browned.

 

In order to full savour the taste of these shami kababs, serve with onion rings and slices of lime.
