President Mamnoon rejects mercy plea of four APS attackers

ISLAMABAD: President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain on Friday turned down mercy plea of four terrorists involved in Army Public School (APS) massacre in Peshawar, ARY News reported.

The president conveyed that there is no mercy, nor any concession for the ones who butchered innocent children in APS Peshawar, almost a year ago.

The incident had sent shock waves across the country and abroad, prompting calls for stern action against all terrorists that culminated in a decisive offensive against terrorists and militants countrywide.

President Mamnoon today rejected plea of four terrorists sentenced by a military court.

He was recommended not to take the plea into consideration by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Parents of martyred children expressed their satisfaction over the rejection of plea. They said that the killers of their innocent children must be handed severe punishment.
