President urges foreign countries to avail investment opportunities in Pakistan

The President said that Pakistan desires to promote friendly and brotherly relations with all countries particularly with it’s neighbours for peace, stability and prosperity in the region.

The envoys who presented their credentials included Bangladesh High Commissioner Tarik Ahsan, Ambassador of Azerbaijan Ali Fikrat Oglu Alizada, Ambassador of Republic of Korea Suh Dong-gu, Ambassador of Somalia Mrs. Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhsumi, Ambassador of Sudan Tageldin Elhadi Eltahir and Ambassador of Sweden Ms. Ingrid Johansson.

Later, while speaking to Punjab Governor Rafiq Rajwana, he said that steps should be taken to ensure welfare of people by improving their standard of life. He said that maximum relief should be provided and quality educational and healthcare services be made available to the people.

The governor apprised the President of the developmental activities being undertaken in the province with specific reference to the ongoing projects in the southern Punjab.
