Services chiefs meet Chinese President

ISLAMABAD: Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday assured full cooperation to Pakistan in coping with different challenges, ARY News reported.

A top-level leadership of services chiefs comprising Army Chief General Raheel Sharif, Naval Chief Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah and Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman led by Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Rashad Mahmood called on Mr Xi Jinping.

On this occasion, the Chinese president hailed the efforts of Pakistan against terrorism and vowed that china will stand by Pakistan in every difficult hour.

He said that China fully backs Pakistan in the war against terrorism so that peace and stability could be witnessed in the region.

Mr Jinping said that the Operation Zarb-e-Azb holds the significance of a ‘game-changer’ for the restoration of peace, which will in turn bring economic development and prosperity in Pakistan.
