Priyanka Chopra is one of the finest actresses in town not only in India but around the world as well. The Quantico star has managed to win international awards and laurels, helping her fan base to swell into millions from around the world. Priyanka has a sizeable amount of Muslim fans as well and the actress did not hesitate in slamming Donald Trump’s brash statement about banning Muslims from the USA.

“I just think you can’t put a ban on anyone. Generalising a type of people is really primitive,” she said.

The Bajirao Mastani star, who plays the role of Alex Parrish in Quantico, an FBI recruit who gets blamed for a terrorist attack for which she has no part in, said the fight against terrorism has become so ‘complex that you can’t put a face to it.’

When a Twitter user told Chopra that she should stick to acting and refrain from issuing political statements and comments, this is how she retorted:-

Donald Trump had issued a controversial statement a couple of months back when he stated that Muslim immigrants should be banned from entering the United States in order to secure the country from terrorism. The statement was condemned by human rights activists and Trump’s rival Hillary Clinton as well.

This latest statement from Chopra is likely to win affection and adulation from her Muslim fans across the globe.
