Owing to the gas shortage, angry protestors took to the streets in Lahore at Samanabad and protested by venting their anger at the Orange Line project.
Protests were also taken out in Multan, when furious citizens blocked Multan road, causing a traffic jam. Speaking to media personnel, protestors were of the view that the government was making a fool out of them. They also said that they would not stand idle and let their homes and businesses be destroyed due to gas load-shedding.
