According to details, Altaf Hussain’s provocative speech against the institutions drew serious reaction by the people. Citizens reached out to police seeking registration of case against the MQM chief on charges of treason, terrorism, issuing threats and inciting violence.
Over 30 cases were registered in Hyderabad, Jacobabad, Khairpur, Naushero Feroze, Tando Allah Yar, Dadu, Badin, Mirpur Khas, Ghotki and other cities.
Earlier on Tuesday, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar had said that the language used against security forces by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief is ‘condemnable’.
“Altaf Hussain has crossed all the limits and is using the same language which the enemies of Pakistan use,” he said.
