LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board has released the schedule of the second edition of Pakistan Super League due to be held in Dubai and Sharjah from February 9, 2017.
The number of match days has been increased from 16 to 18 days after the massive success of the inaugural edition.
The grand opening ceremony will be held in Dubai on February 9 followed by an inaugural match between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United.
Karachi Kings will play its first match on February 10 against Peshawar Zalmi, followed by another one against the Quetta Gladiators on February 11.
Kings will face Lahore Qalandars in Sharjah,on February 16 and will lock horns with the former PSL champion Islamabad United on February 17.
The playoffs will be held in Sharjah on 28th February and 1st March in which the finalists will be decided.
The final will be held on March 7 in Lahore subject to security clearance. The decision was announced by Chairman PSL Najam Sethi during the drafting ceremony on 19th October.
