PTI chairman Imran Khan will address a huge crowd today in Peshawar and arrangements for the party’s rally have been completed. According to details, chairs have been placed at the venue to seat PTI supporters who are expected to attend the public gathering in droves. Two hundred speakers have been placed to ensure the audience catches every word emitted from the microphone. Containers have also been placed and the place has been swarmed with the party’s flag.
The audio contract for the rally has been awarded to DJ Wali Sons, who will entertain attendees with Pashto and Punjabi songs. The rally is part of PTI’s campaign for the upcoming PK-8 by-election on 12th May. Imran is likely to criticise the government regarding the recent arrest of Balochistan Secretary Treasure on charges of corruption and also address the Panama leaks issue.
PTI’s administration have not called on women to attend the rally but any who wish to attend will be welcomed.
Imran Khan had earlier warned his supporters in the Islamabad rally held last month that he could issue a call anytime soon for them to stage a protest sit-in outside PM Sharif’s Raiwind residence.
