The decision to this effect was taken by the administration and informed the PTI in writing.

Deputy commissioner Islamabad said PTI had been informed about the decision.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had earlier decided to organize its foudnation day rally  at Islamabad’s D-Chowk after it was denied permission by the district administration.

Later, the party announced to hold the public meeting at F-9 Park.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan last week announced that there will be no public gathering of any sort in the Red Zone and also asked the Capital Development Authority to start dismantling the stadium at D-Chowk.
