PTI expects meaningful dialogue with govt today

ISLAMABAD: Another round of talks between the government and protesting PTI and PAT will be held today in a bid to clear the political air, ARY News reported.

Earlier on Wednesday, the government team including Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Zahid Hamid while PTI side representing Arif Alvi and Asad Umar among others had talks at the residence of Jahangir Tareen.

The government delegation yesterday avoided speaking to media, however PTI leader Asad Umar told that meaningful talks were expected on Thursday (today). While Arif Alvi said they had not reached any decisive end so far, adding the talks were heading forward.

He also hinted that talks in next phase could turn out to be meaningful.
