PTI failed to provide evidence in Panama case, claims minister

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has claimed that PTI has failed to provide evidence regarding Panama case in the Supreme Court.

Talking to media persons outside the SC premises in Islamabad on Wednesday, she said public is well aware about the progress and development during Nawaz Sharif era.

She said that PTI is still relying on newspaper clippings as evidence in the court regarding Panama case.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said federal government is implementing the development projects whereas PTI has failed to deliver in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan today observed that there was no money trail regarding Sharif family’s London flats and asked the government to show how money was transferred from Jeddah to London.

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) lead counsel in the Panamagate case Naeem Bukhari during the hearing of the infamous case on Wednesday revealed about another property of the Sharif family.

Bukhari told the court that another property called Flagship limited was owned by Hussain Nawaz and PTI recently got hold of its documents recently.
