Talking to media after meeting Imran Khan in Islamabad, the JI chief said several issues either had been resolved or near resolution.
The government has tasked Sirajul Haq to convince Imran Khan to withdraw his shutdown call and negotiate with the state to resolve the crisis.
“PTI feels that sit-ins can resolve the crisis,” he added.
He said government must initiate talks, hopefully the matter will be resolved, he said.
He said Imran had repeated his demand for fair investigation into alleged rigging into general elections 2013.
He said government is also staging huge rallies, but talks are the solution to steer out of this crisis” he said.
