PTI leader demands ban on MQM

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi leader Faisal Wada said on Thursday that Indian Intelligence Agency ‘RAW’ is operating in Pakistan by the name of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), ARY News reported.

Expressing his views in ARY News talk show ‘Khara Sach’, the PTI leader said that the Indian agency bent upon destroying Pakistan is working in the country through MQM, a party that rules most of Karachi.

“The current leaders of MQM represent RAW in Karachi”, said Wada.

Answering questions by the show host Arif Hameed Bhatti, Wada expressed astonishment over Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA)’s delay in banning MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s speeches from London.

He maintained that he was the first to object at MQM chief’s speech as his speeches were inciting people for violence against PTI workers but now when Altaf Hussain openly asked for RAW’s help, what is stopping PEMRA and government to take action against him.

Wada demanded a complete ban on MQM after terming MQM chief’s  speech as open treason and insult of Pakistan’s armed forces.
