PTI leader quits live program in boycott of MQM

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leaders have started boycotting the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) as PTI leader, Ali Zaidi left ARY News program ‘Off the Record’ following the commands of his party chief, ARY News reported.

According to details, PTI leader, Ali Zaidi was invited to represent his party in today’s episode of program ‘Off the Record’.

During the program, Zaidi presented his stance, however when MQM’s Saman Jafri countered his arguments and reminded him of what his party chief, Imran Khan said earlier in the day, the PTI leader left the program.

When asked later, Zaidi said that he was not aware that a MQM representative was also invited to the show. The PTI leader left the show after MQM’s Saman Jafri reminded him of his chief’s boycott call.

Imran Khan had earlier said that his party will not participate at any forum, which included MQM.
