Judicial Comission

PTI leader says rigging culprits afraid of judicial commission

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naz Baloch said on Monday that the culprits of rigging should be brought to justice at all costs, ARY News reported.

Expressing her views in ARY News show ‘Khara Sach’, Baloch opined that those responsible for rigging elections have stolen the actual mandate of the people and are the biggest criminals of the nation.

Answering a question, she said that former Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry ‘s insecurity is evident from the political statements he issued soon after the formation of judicial commission to probe rigging in May 2013 elections.

The PTI leader also claimed that Khwaja Asif’s diatribe against PTI MNAs was also a result of his insecurity regarding the commission as he is afraid of the probe.

Naz Baloch also raised concern over Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s victory speech before the declaration of official results by saying that she herself got the result of her constituency (NA-240) after three days while Mian Nawaz Sharif announced his victory at 10 PM in the night.
