PTI likely to scrap anti-govt protest: sources

ISLAMABAD: With much hype clouding over party’s announcement of next anti-government movement under its ‘Plan D’, it is learnt that Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) is likely to end its movement against PML-N-led government, ARY News reported.

According to sources, the PTI believes that the government was making earnest efforts to meet its demands regarding formation of judicial commission to probe alleged rigging into general elections 2013.

The decision to stay away from anti-government movement came when PML-N leader Ishaq Dar sought time to meet PTI’s Jahangir Tareen to settle the dispute on Saturday.

In this regard, PTI decided that chairman Imran Khan will not make any announcement against the government. Though, he will make announcement regarding workers’ convention in different cities of the country.
