Another tense encounter of PTI, MQM workers in NA-246

KARACHI: Workers of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and Muttahida Qaumi Movement on Thursday came face to face with each other in Dastagir area of Karachi, however no untoward incident took place, ARY News reported.

According to details, scores of PTI activists led by PTI candidate Imran Ismail took to ‘Javed Nihari’ in Dastagir area to interact with masses in order to garner public support in the run for NA-246 seat.

On the occasion, PTI crowd encountered MQM activists leading to chants in opposition of each other.

However, no untoward incident took place and PTI supporters led their way to party’s election camp in Karimabad.

During the ongoing election campaign, PTI has often witnessed such instances as the constituency is a traditional stronghold of MQM.
