PTI mulls rescheduling Lahore shutdown call

LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is considering rescheduling its ‘shutdown’ call in Lahore for December 4, ARY News reported.

Imran Khan-led PTI is planning to reschedule its shutdown call owing to Jamaat-ud-Dawa’s public gathering the same day.

In order to decide new date for the protest day, PTI’s core committee meeting is under way in Lahore.

PTI chief Imran Khan had unveiled his ‘Plan C’ in its mammoth rally in Islamabad. Under the plan, he announced the schedule for strikes by PTI with shutdown in Lahore on December 4, followed by Faisalabad on December 8 and Karachi on December 12.

He also announced to push country in a lockdown state on December 16.
