PTI rejects judicial commission’s terms of reference

PTI chairman Imran Khan has rejected the terms of reference of the judicial commission and said that the government should decide the terms based on consultations with opposition. Meanwhile, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Khursheed Shah has said that the solution did not lay in the formation of a judicial commission. Shah called for a forensic audit to determine the truth.

Meanwhile, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari called for Nawaz Sharif to resign. The PPP chairman said PM Nawaz should step down in the same manner that he had demanded former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani to resign.

Following Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s announcement of writing a letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to form a judicial commission, the government wrote a letter to the Supreme Court registrar in which the terms of reference of the judicial commission were contained.
