The resolution calls on the government of Sindh to extend the policing powers of the Rangers, which should cover the entire province of Sindh, and not just restricted to Karachi.  It recommends that the policing powers should be extended for a longer period such as one year instead of a quarterly basis.

The resolution expresses appreciation of the efforts and services of the Pakistan Rangers during the current Karachi operation, which have brought a vast improvement in the law and order situation.
