PTI seeks court order against likely arrest of party workers

LAHORE: PTI Lawyers Forum has filed a petition in Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking protection of the party workers from arrests before November 30th rally in Islamabad, ARY News reported on Thursday.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali has been made a party in the petition.

The petitioner claimed that the government was striving to fail the party rally and made a plan of crackdown against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) activists before the November 30th rally.

The lawyers forum has asked the court to issue an order to the government preventing it from harrassment and arrest of the party workers before the PTI’s show of strength in Islamabad.
