PTI gears up to take to streets, again

LAHORE: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan Wednesday presided over a meeting of his party officials from all over Punjab, ARY News reported.

The meeting decided that PTI will again be taking to streets after the process of vote verification completes pertaining to the National Assembly constituency, NA-122 Lahore-V.

PTI Punjab chapter’s president, Aijaz Chaudhry told that this time Lahore will be the center stage of protest against rigging.

Yesterday, Imran Khan had said that his party is awaiting Nadra’s verdict [confirmation of irregularities] regarding the constituencies Tehreek-i-Insaf demanded to open for verification of votes, so that there may be no room left for the government to consult the apex court on the issue.

“It will be then that we will ask the government to form a judicial commission and if the government hesitated, we shall again take to streets”, he had warned.
