MULTAN: Scores of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers in Multan took to the streets on Tuesday chanting slogans against party’s ousted president Javed Hashmi and burnt the effigy of the leader who rebelled from his party, ARY News reported.

Hundreds of PTI workers gathered at Gultex road and burnt an effigy of Javed Hashmi who rebelled from the party policy regarding the protest which is witnessing its twenty first day in Islamabad’s red zone.

Speaking to protesters, party’s regional leader Khalid Khan Khakwani claimed that Javed Hashmi is a political opportunist whose real face is now before the people of Pakistan.

Khakwani maintained that Hashmi’s negative politics and allegations have not changed people’s hearts towards party’s central leadership and his propaganda has been rejected by PTI enthusiasts.
