PTI’s Swati, Faraz released on bail

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Azam Swati and Shibli Faraz were released by the Islamabad High Court on bail, ARY News reports.

Azam Swati was arrested by Islamabad Police on Saturday evening.

The two PTI leaders were released after submitting guarantees of Rs. 1 lac.

It should be noted that 52 party workers along with Swati and Shibli were produced in front of a judicial magistrate.

The court, on the other hand, sent the PTI activists to jail on 14 day judicial remand.

The sound engineer of PTI Asif Butt alias DJ Butt has also been released.

PTI has announced sit-ins in Rawalpindi against the arrest of their party workers.
