Public don’t want to see Imran Khan as PM, says Hashmi

MULTAN: Senior politician Javed Hashmi said on Monday that people of Pakistan don’t want to see Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan as the Prime Minister of the country, ARY News reported.

Addressing a press conference at his residence today, Javed Hashmi said Imran Khan should go through the political process before wishing to attain the premiership of Pakistan.

He said that sit-ins will cause a colossal loss to PTI Chief bringing an end to his politics.

“It seems odd that two chiefs leading a revolution. Are they going to equally divide Pakistan?” questioned Hashmi.

Hashmi claimed that both Imran and Tahirul Qadri jointly take decisions adding the two leaders moved together from Lahore to Islamabad. He also mocked at musical shows and Mehfil-e-Qawali being arranged outside the two containers.

Javed Hashmi has suggested Speaker National Assembly to accept the resignation of Shah Mahmood Qureshi on priority.

Criticizing Chief of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rasheed, Hashmi said its strange that he [Shaikh Rasheed] called himself ‘Shaikh’ but in actual he belonged to ‘Butt family’ which he denies to accept.

Javed Hashmi said being the president of PTI he will definitely attend Multan’s rally, if called.
