Pulkit Samrat’s wife ‘slaps’ actress Yami Gautam

The couple tied the knot in November 2014, and after less than a year of marriage, the two parted ways. Fingers were pointed at Pulkit’s Sanam Re co-star Yami Gautam as being the reason behind his marriage going kaput, but neither Pulkit nor Shweta ever spoke about it.

According to reports, Shweta felt insecure about Pulkit after hearing rumors about the two co-actors [Yami and Pulkit] getting close on set. It is reported that the tension between the three, Pulkit, Shweta and Yami, rose on the sets of ‘Sanam Re.’+POST 1

About a year ago, Shweta accompanied Pulkit to the sets of Sanam Re in Shimla. It was there that Shweta saw Yami getting over-friendly with her husband. And things started to get worse from that point on.+POST 3

Some days later, according to SpotBoye, Shweta confronted Yami at the gym the three were members of. A rather ugly spat followed. At one point during the fight, Yami is said to have asked Shweta, “You think I will take your husband away?”And Shweta nearly slapped Yami and asked her to get out of the gym.

Shweta, in a recent interview with DNA, was quoted as saying that Yami always had the hots for Pulkit, but her husband never paid any attention to her. “That is ridiculous (Pulkit and Yami being in a relationship).POST 4

“I know my husband and Yami is the last person he would want to be involved with. In fact, he didn’t even want to do films with her; he has acted with better actresses. Eight years ago, he had done a music video with her and at that time he wasn’t even talking to her. Yami always had her eyes on him, but Pulkit never had the hots for her.”
