Punjab bans school assemblies after terror threats
According to sources in education department, the decision has been taken keeping in view the terrorist’s attack on Army school in Peshawar.
On the other hand, government has advised all the Government, Private Missionary, Armed Forces and Multinational educational institutes to observe complete security SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to avoid any untoward incident in future.
Sources informed that school education department of Punjab has also imposed ban on inter-provincial/inter-district educational and recreational visits of students without permission of education department.
Educational authorities said these measures have been taken to provide safeguard to educational institutes from terrorists.
