Punjab to establish police stations for overseas Pakistanis

Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab Afzaal Bhatti informed about this government plan during an interaction with eight-member delegation of Pakistan Press Club UK headed by its president Mobeen Chaudhry.

According to reports, these police stations would be established in cities whose citizens are living abroad in large numbers.

He said, under the directions of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, 76 seats had been allocated on merit for the children of Overseas Pakistanis in medical colleges of the province.

He said that with a view to address the problems of Overseas Pakistanis, Committees had also been set up even at district level.
